The Best Shot Tourney

was a wonderful event. Thirty registered players

played two rounds under blue autumn skies and mild temperatures.

One round was shot for score. Players were then “teamed up” based on the first round score. Best and worst scores made the first team, #2 and #29 made the second team and so forth.

The interesting thing is that the money went to the teams with middle of the road scores.

Eric (19) and Dan (12) were first place winners.

Harley (20) and Dave (11) were second place.

The third place money came down to a sudden death play-off between three teams,

Willard (3)/Craig (28); James (2)/Amen (29) and Brian (13)/ Tim (18). Willard/Craig lost out on the first hole. James made a great 25' bee line putt just over the lip to tie the second hole.

The gallery followed the playoffs to hole three where Brian nailed a long tough putt to seal the third place victory.

Matt goes for bird on #5-------- Steve approaches #9 ------- ?? makes the putt at #12

I want to thank everyone for attending the Annual Best Shot Tourney at Spiritwood.

Our resident cook, Chuck Lundy, served up a turkey & noodle with gravy feast

supplemented by more pot luck goodies so all went home happy and full.

Thank you one and all.

See you next year!

That little bright spot in the tree line is the tee box!
